Best Friend Necklaces - Intermediate
In this 3 hour class we will first decide on the shape of your shared necklace, be it a heart, star, circles, or something extra special to you and your friend(s). You will create the shape on paper (whether drawn or printed out) which we attach to your choice of sterling silver or brass and then saw it out. We will do the stamping of your chosen message/phrase and finish our edges. Then, we will solder jump rings, clean and polish the pieces and choose chains and clasps. You will also have the option to make your own clasp. During this experience you will gain further sawing, filing and soldering skills, metal stamping (depending on your choices) as well as how to take an image and turn it into metal!

All tools and equipment will be provided. Please wear closed toe shoes and be able to tie your (if long) hair back.
We will be learning out of my home studio in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. We are bordering Culver City and Venice.
