Pendants - Beginner
In this 3 - 3.5 hour class you will choose from a variety of metal wires to make a multiple component pendant of adjoining or stacked shapes to then attach to your choice of chain. During this experience you'll learn about the tools and equipment of basic goldsmithing and then how to size, saw, solder, shape, hammer (texturize) polish and securely attached your shapes to chain using tools such as a caliper, jewelers saw, files, multiple hammers, a butane torch and a flex shaft among others.

No experience is necessary. All tools and equipment will be provided. Please wear closed toe shoes and be able to tie your (if long) hair back.
We will be learning out of my home studio in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. which borders Culver City and Venice.
